A week of hell

Okay, not entirely hell but the good parts weren't good enough to take the hell out of things. ;)

I've been meaning to blog Wednesday evening but I had technical difficulties aka I lost my internet connection but now that I have it back, I'm going to make the most out of it before it's gone again. Anyway, this week was full of exams and not just any kind of exams... FINAL exams. It was last minute crunch time for me so I could pull up my mediocre grades from midterms, especially that damn 79 I got from 107. I tried to pull out all the stops and I just wish my studying worked or else I'm screwed.

Review sessions were brutal, especially for 107! Thank God that exam went better than I had expected. My 106 exam, however, is on the other side of the spectrum. I don't think prayers would make me pass that exam. I just hope some awesome miracle happens and I pass. The other exams were... okay, I guess. RLE was kind of a bitch but it always is so there's no surprise there. CA is a sure win thanks to Brunnarth although I almost fell asleep during the exams cos the questions were so damn long!

The most fun I had this week was during the 107 exams. I wouldn't want to divulge details here (in case we ever get caught) but that was epic shit right there. My classmates had arranged me a seat so they can see my answers without me knowing. :) I had some epic cheating moments this term and when I look back, it makes me burst into laughter.

This morning, we had our thesis defense! We were the first group to present so no pressure. We got a grade of B which meant our thesis was approved but we had to make minor revisions. Fine by me as long as we don't repeat the entire thing ;) I am so thankful for our thesis adviser, who didn't leave us to die in front of the panel. He actually texted me the answers to some of the questions the panel had for us when we couldn't answer. :) I am beyond ecstatic that that's over for a lot of reasons. One because all those cramming sessions are over. Second because... I'm glad everything is over.

Another thing to be thankful for this week is that I got to spend time with some of my peeps even though it was only for lunch ;) Our YakiMix food fest didn't push through because Cacal didn't have his car today. They (Kim and Cacal) promised to take us out on Monday though. :) Yay! I can't wait to pig out and release all this pent up stress on good food!
