You would think that a lot more has gotten down in my personal life than my fangirling but you are completely wrong. My fangirling life is much more exciting than my reality. I've never had THIS much progress in my fangirling ever since Fall Out Boy. ;) Click read more to know my story!
You all know that I talk to Benji (The Cab's production manager) and Dave (The Cab's tour drummer) on a regular basis, right? So I decided to ask them what they wanted for Christmas (because there was already speculation that they were coming here in 2012). Dave said he didn't want anything in particular, just spending time with family and friends. However, Benji's answer is a different story. I asked him and he said he wanted a pony and a firetruck. He said that it was his attempt at being a kid so I told him I'm gonna give him a stuffed pony and a toy firetruck :) December 20th, he tweeted me "haha you best hang when we get there." Might I just add that they were trending here in the Philippines the night before. So I asked him if he wanted anything else aside from what I'm already getting him and he replied with "hangout time lol". Then I told him if he promised to remember me, we would and he told me "you best believe it". I almost died right then and there.
December 21st. I was in audit but I managed to go online thank to Ayah's broadband so the tweeting began. However, I wasn't able to tweet at around 3PM onwards since I had to take a post-test and I went to our Christmas party. I got home at around 11:30PM and checked my Twitter for replies. Right before I went to bed, I decided to check my DMs (which I rarely do, BTW) and saw his message!!! YES, BENJI WHITE MESSAGED ME. So I added him and he approved right away! The next morning, he messaged me on Facebook. Yes, he messaged me first.
So that was the start of our conversation which continued until the next day. ;)
December 23rd. I was on mobile as I usually am before I decided to go back to sleep but I saw something on Facebook that made me open my laptop. Dayly finally announced that The Cab is coming to the Philippines with Cobra Starship, Dashboard Confessional, and The Used. I immediately called Lara and went mad. They announced that tickets will be available starting the 24th so you would imagine what I felt when I learned that.
December 24. Woke up really early to call Ticketnet and get first dibs on Patron Standing tickets. I started to call at around 8:30 but they were still closed so I tried after 5 minutes... still closed... another 5 minutes... still closed... 5 minutes yet again... someone picked up.... NO ADVICE YET... 5 minutes.... SAME ANSWER.... 5 minutes.... I COULDN'T GET THROUGH ANYMORE. So I was all, game face on bitches. Battle's begun. It took a good 15 minutes or so before I could get through and when I did, Rizza said that there still wasn't any advice that tickets are to be sold already. I was all, "could you please ask again cos my friend just bought hers like 5 minutes ago." And so she put me on hold and asked and I was able to reserve!! ;) After lunch Dad asked me to come with him to SM so I decided to claim my ticket but I had to do it without him knowing cos he's going to kill me again. I forgot to bring a valid ID but the poor cashier was stupid enough not to check if my ID was valid so I GOT MY TICKET ALREADY ;)
I guess it's safe to say that I'm officially broke ;) I've spent all my Christmas money on this baby and my only regret is having regrets.
THIS JUST IN. This just happened a hour ago and I'm still at a loss for words.
I can't wait for March 8th! Only 71 more days to go! ;)

You go girl! I'm so proud of you and your fangirling ways!!! I'm excited for you too!!!
