It has been FIVE months since this blog was updated so I think I owe a blog post before I go on a break... again. Let me take you through the past few months, I promise this won't take long because my life is uneventful. :)
1. Everything is The Cab and nothing hurts.
Most of my time was spent on fangirling over The Cab. From talking to the boys non-stop on Twitter, preparing for Smash Project, Symphony Soldier's album launch at Odyssey Megamall to counting down the days until Smash Project with them. Also, it was during the launch where I got to meet my Thunder Legion girls for the first time!
2. Smash Project 2012.
And then finally, Smash week came and we were busy with preparation and practically flailing and spazzing out everytime we realize how soon before we'd see them in the flesh. And then the day finally came, we went to the signing. Dave remembered us and gave us massive hugs, Joey liked the shirt we made and signed it, Marshall flashing us his angelic smile and kissing the top of my forehead to Alex giving me a hug and telling me it was their pleasure to play here. Got my Symphony Soldier signed, gave the boys the loot bag we got them, and scouted the area for Benji. Didn't see him until the last minute but it was all good. I got a meet and greet pass out of the blue thanks to my friend. We were even able to go backstage, hence I found Benji while he was setting up on stage and I screamed at him. He went to us, I asked him to sign my journal, we took pictures, he gave me the setlist he promised (yes, this was before the show), and I gave him the beanie because he lost his former one in Australia days before. The concert was pure perfection. I cannot even put it into words. Benji went looking for me after their set so we met up at sound control, he brought me beer. I drank it while we were watching Cobra's set whispering in each others' ears to hear and make conversation. They had to go but he invited us to the hotel to hangout. So we left after Carrabba's set for the hotel. We waited for us outside, we went into the lobby and talked. Hung out for a while before Alex decided to join in on the fun. We waited for Dave to finish showering and packing before we finally talked to him. We had to leave because they were leaving in a few hours and we had to let them rest. Best night ever.
PS. For a detailed version of this story see this post.
3. Final semester in college.
There were talks of how hectic your last year in college would be; we never thought it would be THAT hectic. What with preparations for the upcoming licensure exams, filing for the said exams, fixing paperwork, and the usual university stuff - it was chaos.
Basically those were the highlights of the past 5 months. Go follow me on Twitter and Tumblr if you feel like you need to be updated with my life. I usually update those two the most :) I'll write again when I feel like it - hopefully it wouldn't take another 5 months.
