Lunch dates and movies

It's been a while since my bestfriends and I got together for lunch... much less a movie. It's been a while since we all saw each other to be quite honest so when Joyce suggested we go see each other Sunday for lunch and a movie, we all quickly said yes except for one.

And as per tradition of getting together, we must indulge ourselves in a ridiculous amount of good food. So we headed to Yellow Cab and ordered the biggest pizza, 3 servings of pasta, and the new jalapeno fries + Parmesan chicken. Have I mentioned we were only 6 people during lunch? Normally, we would've finished all of this but for some reason, we didn't. The solution? Take out. Also included in the tradition is that we must get coffee and smoke cigarettes after lunch so we headed to CBTL to take a break from the usual Starbucks trip.

We had a date with Tony Stark because he's such a good looking genius it's almost unfair. Iron Man 3 was such a good movie! So good I'm going to go see it again with the family in a few days. Not only was it action packed but it was also filled with humor AND drama! I was kept on my toes the entire time and no movie has done that in a while! 

And what is a day without having dessert? Nothing. So thanks to that stub which accompanied our Iron Man ticket, we got 50% off from Gelatissimo! I tried their tiramisu and coffee flavors. I really liked the coffee but the belgian chocolate was so much better. I wish they had a mint flavor to go with it! I vow to try the berry variations next time!

Well then, until next blog post! I'm sure I'm going to have something to rave about later in the day as it is Cab Day after all and my bestfriend is coming for our maipedi session! ;)
