Crowning Glory

There's a saying that goes, "your hair is your crowning glory" and if that's the case, glorious would be the last thing I'd be. I never really liked my hair since it's frizzy and wavy and basically hard to manage. Just think Hermione Granger's untamable mane but with lesser curls. I've never done anything special with it (except have it straightened more than a year ago) which makes it even more boring. 

My hair was the longest it has ever been one point a little over a month ago. Based from my experience, I don't know why girls prefer longer hair - it's such a hassle! So after putting up with it for a few more days, I finally convinced my Mom that I should lose the hair and go short.

The original plan was to get a pixie cut but the stylist said that I should "test the waters" first before I decide to go that short and convinced me to get a bob. So I did and now I'm over it. So much so that I'm planning to get it cut within the week and go butch like Anne Hathaway in One Day. My parents will kill me but I don't care. They can't do anything when all my hair is gone. I'm still having an internal debate whether I should have it colored or not. I guess we'll all just have to see.
