Production

A few nights ago, I was called in for a meeting because they needed my "writing/techie/creative skills" on something. To be honest, I have none of these said skills but I decided to come since a good friend was asking for a favor.

We talked about two upcoming Youth projects of the church - both of which are exciting as we're doing something that hasn't been done before. I'm anxious as these projects are huge and it's going to be a feat to pull them off properly but mostly I'm excited because my head pictures it to be grand.

I can't tell you about the second project but I will tell you about the first. It's going to be a bazaar - live music, film showing, an exhibit, a possible bounce house, and booths for food, clothes, trinkets and so much more. It's more of a cross between a festival and a bazaar actually so you can only imagine how huge this project is. A lot of great ideas have been thrown in and a great team has been assembled. I can't wait to actually get started. I'm sure it will be a great diversion from my very sedentary lifestyle as of date.

The festival will be held at our church, Fairview Park United Methodist Church on November 17. I'll start commissioning people who would be willing to participate in a few days. If you're interested, please do let me know and we'll work it out! :)
